Professor Taras has written extensively on the
Canadian mass media and on Canadian politics. He is the author of The
Newsmakers: The Media’s Influence on Canadian Politics, Power &
Betrayal in the Canadian Media and co-author of The Last Word: Media
Coverage of the Supreme Court of Canada. He is also co-editor of How
Canadians Communicate and A Passion for Identity: Canadian Studies for
the 21st Century among other works.
